Torremolinos, Málaga
Hotel La Luna Blanca is a hotel project developed by Santos Arquitectos in Torremolinos, a municipality that pioneered modern tourism on the Costa del Sol. The brief called for a hotel that would combine the demands of a full hospitality programme with a Mediterranean character fully integrated into the coastal landscape.
The project organises its programme around the fundamental values of hospitality: sea-facing orientation, generous communal spaces and rooms that make the most of the views and natural light of the Málaga coastline. The clean façade language engages with the architectural tradition of the Costa del Sol while maintaining a contemporary sensibility.
