Townhouse complex designed by Santos Arquitectos in the Rivera de Trayamar development, in the municipality of Algarrobo, in the Axarquía comarca. The location combines the tranquillity of the inland with proximity to the coast, just metres from Trayamar beach and the Caleta de Vélez marina.
The homes, organised in low-rise rows, adopt a Mediterranean language of white volumes and pitched roofs. Each unit has a private garden on the ground floor and a terrace on the first floor, encouraging a relationship between the interior and exterior spaces. The layout follows a functional programme that prioritises natural light and cross-ventilation, taking advantage of the predominantly south-facing orientation of the complex.
The development features landscaped communal areas that integrate the different townhouse rows into a cohesive whole, with separate vehicular and pedestrian access. Mediterranean vegetation — olive trees, orange trees and low water-consumption shrubs — reinforces the project's integration into the characteristic landscape of the Axarquía.
