Historic Centre, Málaga
The Enforex Málaga Language School occupies a historic building in the city centre rehabilitated by Santos Arquitectos. The project transforms the property — with a facade of notable architectural value — into a modern educational centre that preserves the character and personality of the original building as the school's primary identity asset.
The intervention recovers the historic staircase and inner courtyard as the structural spaces around which the life of the centre revolves. The classrooms, designed to encourage active learning, are distributed around the courtyard, ensuring natural light and cross-ventilation in all spaces. The rehabilitation details — restoration of mouldings, recovery of original flooring — coexist alongside contemporary furniture and technology.
