El Limonar, Málaga
A group of detached villas designed by Santos Arquitectos in the Limonar neighbourhood, one of the most valued residential areas in the city of Málaga. The south-facing hillside with views over the bay shapes and enriches the project, which uses the topography to step the villas and ensure optimal privacy and sunlight.
The architecture adopts a refined Mediterranean language, with cubic volumes in terracotta and white tones, flat roofs and a palette of warm materials that integrate naturally into the wooded setting of the Limonar. South-facing terraces and porches become the heart of each villa, extending the living spaces outwards.
Each unit has a private garden and pool, with an interior layout that prioritises the visual and functional relationship between the living and dining room, the kitchen and the outdoor spaces.
